Our magic Christmas elf arrived today after a long trip from the North Pole. Santa sent him along to teach Everett to share love and kindness this Christmas season. He came named as "Davis" but this proved to be a bit confusing since Daddy's name is "David" ... so we hope Santa doesn't mind, but we'll be calling our elf by the name "Sam".
Sam came equipped with a sleeping bag and magic snow. Before bed tonight, Everett sprinkled some magic snow on Sam and left him a cracker for a snack (Sam's favorite). We are told these jolly little magic elves are also quite mischievous ... they like to play games and to hide after the magic snow brings them to life at night. It will be fun to look for Sam tomorrow morning and see where he's hiding and what mischief he's gotten into while Everett was sleeping. Stay tuned ....
