Pryce Dancing

Pryce LOVES to dance. Baba and Gigi bought him his first MP3 player for Christmas and he loves carrying it around and dancing to the music. He never performs quite the same when I try to videotape him ... but here's a sample of his moves.

New Scooter

The boys enjoyed playing outside today. The new scooter their grandparents got them for Christmas got a lot of use.

E actually said "Momma, take my picture" and posed with his hands behind his head. Too funny.

Christmas cards

Today was spent putting away the Christmas tree and Christmas decorations. This included putting away all the Christmas cards we have prominently displayed as soon as you walk in our home. This site makes me really happy, so I decided to take a picture before putting them away.

One of my favorite things about the holiday season is receiving Christmas cards. I love knowing that we are in the thoughts (and on the Christmas mailing lists) of loved ones near and far. I look forward to checking the mail knowing there might be a new card or two waiting for us. After opening a card, I make a point of displaying each and every one and I stop by to admire them daily. Thanks everyone for your holiday greetings this year! I cherished every one of them!

Dancing with Santa

We have really enjoyed watching Pryce dance. He gets so excited when he hears music and has started making these dance moves reminiscent of Elaine in a certain well known Seinfeld episode. Of course, every time I tried to catch these "moves" on video, Pryce wouldn't perform at his usual level. Here's a small sample of him and Everett in action. Towards the end you see his shoulders start to move, almost like he's breakdancing. I'll keep trying to catch him on video, but this will have to do for now. Enjoy!

Christmas Morning

The boys were excited to get up Christmas morning and see what Santa brought them.

Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of my family when they came over for us to celebrate Christmas. After opening gifts, we enjoyed a great spread of food and then played Apples to Apples. Mom & Dad proved to be the big winners ... we'll definitely need a rematch soon!

Molly went back to Cali on Sunday. We miss her already. :(

Christmas Eve

We celebrated Christmas Eve at the Rankins. Everett helped Grandma make her yummy rolls for dinner. He was very proud of himself and they sure turned out great!
While Everett was cooking, Pryce was busy, as usual, in the garage with Hayley and Grandad. There's a radio in the garage and he could spend hours out there dancing to the music and playing with the toys. On this day, he was particularly thrilled to play with some toy guns. Our little "dancing cowboy".

Chillin' with Grandad.

All the grandkids (less Pryce who was napping).
Grandma & Grandad gave Everett his first archery set! Hopefully Pryce won't become his target practice!
