Mother's Day trip to lake

May 11th & 12th - Everett had a blast at the lake Mother's Day weekend. We drove out Friday night and returned Saturday afternoon. On Friday night he and Grandad fed the fish. On Saturday, he and Grandma had fun tossing rocks into the goldfish pond and playing with the minnows on the dock. He learned quickly that putting on the life vest was a sign he'd get to go to the dock. By Saturday afternoon he was bringing his Grandad the life vest to let him know he was ready to go play by the water some more! He also enjoyed rides on the paddle boat although they seemed to put him right to sleep!

As you can see, he used up every ounce of energy before we headed home! I don't think he even woke up when we put him in the car!
