Parents' Night Out

On Saturday night, David cashed in some Marriott points and we stayed the night at the Marriott in the Shops at Legacy. The shopping center had their huge Christmas tree and holiday lights up and we had a great view from our room.
We watched a bit of the OU game at Jaspers, then shopped a little and went back to our room for a short nap before dinner. We enjoyed a very nice Italian dinner at Nicola's. Afterwards, we saw Babel at the Angelika. The movie was good, but a little too intense for my taste.
David and I are still both recovering from colds, so we finished the evening at the room with shots of NyQuil ... how romantic!
Sunday morning we had a yummy brunch at Blue Mesa Grill and then headed home.
Thanks Mom and Dad for babysitting! We had a nice little parents' retreat.
