We hope this newfound interest will eventually channel into a desire to put all his toys away!

The food & service was so wonderful. We'll definitely be going back! Thanks guys for a really fun night!
On Friday we woke up to a rainy, dreary day. A little disappointing since it was our last full day at the beach ... and my birthday! We went to the Sea Turtle rescue place which was really neat. Unfortunately, E was pretty squirmy so we couldn't stay very long.

We spent last week in S. Padre. Everett had such a great week. He did really well traveling and was so happy the whole time we were there. I guess he really likes vacation!
in Port Isabel. It's amazing how much fun you can have with a napkin! The food at the restaurant was decent. It had a nice view and we enjoyed walking out on the fishing pier after we ate. There actually weren't many really good restaurants on or near the Island ... not that we found anyway. We'll probably be doing more cooking at our condo the next time we go. (and by "we", I of course mean Chef David!) Unfortunately, our "suite" was more of a large hotel room with a kitchenette ... not the best set up for serious cooking. We'll definitely change that on our next trip.
David rolled off his project on Tuesday so we've had him at home with us this week. Everett loves having Dad get him dressed for school. They have played so much in the mornings that Everett looks tired by the time we get to school! The teacher said he napped for an hour on Wednesday ... that's the first nap he's taken at school in at least a month! I bet he'll nap today too. We wish Daddy could stay home with us every day!
