First T-ball

David bought the boys their first t-ball in May. I caught some video of a few of their first attempts hitting the ball. Some of them were quite comical!

Happy 5th Anniversary!

On July 4th, we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. Thank you, David, for being such a wonderful husband! The past five years have been my best ever!

Here's a picture of us "then and now". The bottom picture was taken on our last visit to the Rankin's lakehouse (May 23rd, 2009) before it was sold. We will sure miss that wonderful place, but have so many special memories to last a lifetime!

Rough Riders Game

We took Everett to his first baseball game on 4.18.2009. It was a RoughRiders game in Frisco and we all had a great time. We left Pryce at home with my parents since the game wouldn't even start until close to his bedtime. We'll definitely need to make another trip out to the ballpark soon!

Playing with cars

These were taken on April 18th, 2009. The boys were having such a blast with their remote control cars, that I had to capture some of the fun.

Nicer weather

Hard to believe it was less than 3 months ago that we were able to sit outside and enjoy some Spring weather. Today the high was around 105 degrees. Uhg! Since it's been so hot, E hasn't gotten in as much bike-riding, but you'll notice he even kept his safety helmet on while eating his dinner when it was all still so new and exciting to him!

Back from Blog-cation

Wow - I really checked out for a while! That was, by far, my longest blogging sabbatical to date, and I'll try to keep it that way! Life got a little hectic, as it always does, before our annual Mudbug Fest and fundraiser for the Collin County Children's Advocacy Center and I started to neglect our blog. We've also taken a few trips and remodeled a bathroom which added to the chaos around here. I've found it easy to post a picture and status update now and then to my Facebook which I guess helped me forget about blogging! However, I am back now and ready to get caught up!

Our bathroom remodel is just about complete. There are a few cosmetic touches waiting to be done and a couple things left on the punch list, but we are very happy to have a functioning bathroom again! The boys love the new big airtub. Here's a picture I took of them in there tonight.
