Easter at the farm
Ring Pops!
Giddy Up!
Super Everett!
I had Everett's parent-teacher conference last Friday. I was surprised when Ms. Sandra informed me that he has become the "Class Hero". Apparently one of the boys was picking on one of the girls in his class a few weeks ago and Everett intervened. Since then, if anyone is getting picked on ... his classmates go get Everett! I asked if this was a problem ... was he being a bully or a tattle tale? To which she responded no, he just doesn't like seeing someone not being treated nicely. According to David's parents, this might be a gene he inherited from his Dad. Apparently, as a child, David was also known to "police" his peers.
Ms. Sandra said Everett is doing fine at school. He is good about sharing with his friends and using his manners. We still have room for improvement on many skills, but nothing that concerned either of us. When I asked what his favorite thing is to do in the classroom, she quickly responded with - Legos! We are still convinced that we have a budding engineer in our home.
Feeling better
Pryce has been a bit under the weather over the past week. I took him to the doctor on Thursday and found out he had a sinus and ear infection. After just one dose of antibiotics he acted like he felt much better. Look closely and you can see where he has one more tooth on it's way in (which has probably contributed to his fussiness lately).
Another milestone I should make mention of ... it seems Pryce has figured out how to climb out of his crib. One day during his nap I heard him cry. I went in his room expecting him to just be crying because he was ready to get up. I found him on the floor crying. Not sure if he hurt himself getting out of the bed or he just wanted out of his room ... from the look of his room, I think he'd been running wild in there for a while already! On Thursday I had him in his crib while I was changing E in his room. I watched him climb over the rails and hang there waiting for me to let him down. I'm not quite ready to put him in a "big boy bed" ... however, I do go check on him more quickly these days when I hear him banging around!
