Christmas Cards

Phew ... I finally got our Christmas cards in the mail today. I must say, trying to get a nice picture of a 2 year old and almost 4 month old is not my idea of a fun evening. Thanks Gigi and Baba for helping to distract, divert, amuse, and even bribe the boys in an effort to get a picture of the two of them worthy of the ink, labels, envelopes, spit, postage, and energy that goes into getting out Christmas cards.

The photo shoot wasn't as successful as I'd hoped, but at least David and I survived without getting into a tiff (as was the case with E's first Christmas picture ... hey, these photo shoots are very stressful on sleep deprived new parents!)

We ended the photo shoot feeling a bit defeated, anticipating that the following evening would be spent enduring the chaos all over again. However, as I scrolled through the digital results of our efforts, I found a couple that weren't too bad. We settled on one, a bit reluctantly, but with a huge sense of relief that we wouldn't be going through all this hoopla again this week!
