Happy Thanksgiving
A few pictures from Thanksgiving day at the lake. We sure missed Grandad as he was spending Thanksgiving in the Decatur hospital ... but we're happy he's back home now and feeling well!

Go Go Go!!!
Everett LOVES to take rides in his little red wagon. Luckily, it's big enough for little brother to join him. He's a pretty demanding little passenger ... yelling for us to "GO GO GO" and when you ask him "go where?" He points and says "That way!". "That way" usually happens to be the direction of the neighborhood park!

Under the weather
Everett wasn't feeling well last Friday so I kept him home from school and took him to the doctor. He was diagnosed with pink eye (in both eyes) and an ear infection in his right ear. When we got home, I was having trouble getting him to take a nap. In an attempt to at least get some "quiet time" I put in a DVD for him to watch. It didn't take him long to doze off. Doesn't he look sweet?
P.S. He is feeling MUCH better this week!

Trick-or-treat!
On Halloween, we went to a neighbor's party and Everett went trick-or-treating with some of the neighborhood kids. He had a blast. It didn't take him long to figure out how this trick-or-treating works!

Everett was very sticky after getting into his Halloween candy stash, so he went straight into the tub when we got home! After he got into his pjs, he was being very sweet with his little bro and wanted to hold him.
We'll chalk up Halloween 2007 as a success! We were happy to meet some more of our neighbors and get to know others a little better. We have some very nice families on our street. Our boys are the youngest of all the kids but the age difference didn't seem to bother any of them ... they all played so well together.

Dinosaurs
Last Tuesday, we went to the Heard Museum to see the the Dinosaurs! It was a nice outing. Everett seemed happy just riding along in the stroller as we made our way along the path that took us by these life-like dinosaurs that even moved, roared, and in one case, spit! He did get out and walk around when we went inside the museum and enjoyed digging for fossils. The next time, I think I'll leave the stroller behind ... it took quite a bit of muscle and maneuvering to push the stroller along the mostly gravel trails. Here's a few pics:
